Picture a mobile hanging above a cot. Little pieces on strings, all connected at the top. Touch one piece and every piece moves. That is a family. When one piece got heavy, the other pieces shifted to keep the whole thing balanced, and a child cannot fix the heavy piece. A child can only change position. I want to find the position you took. I will ask you some plain facts about the family you grew up in, then what the house was like, then how you moved when things got tense. There are no right answers and nothing here is a diagnosis.
